UPAWith over 25,000 members in Quebec, the UPA is a source of stimulation and development for the Quebec agricultural industry and certainly a key player in its future. The majority of members desperately need loans for their equipment, and for the purchases and the maintenance of their animals and their farms. Members couldn’t survive without the specific services, guarantees and the preferential rates offered by the UPA. As essential to the health of Quebec agribusiness as the UPA was, the system had become too expensive and complex to maintain.

Analystik had to design for and integrate many ways of looking at and controlling all of UPA’s data while still offering a simple and economical business solution. The solution has to incorporate and manage anticipated payments, outstanding loans, partnership plans as well as many other unique programs that are reliant on the financing of the next years’ seeds and the property of the members. In 2002, Analystik migrated all these applications out of the Novell environment into a Microsoft system.
