When it comes to Internet marketing and e-Commerce, visitor activities at the « Point Of Action », that is on the Web site or the portal, are monitored from all angles, and then analyzed and later converted into Business Intelligence for future reference. However, in the real world, the value of Business Intelligence at the « Point Of Action » is surprisingly completely neglected. Nevertheless, the majority of businesses that depend on the Sales Force for their main source of revenues invest in CRMs and new technology (portable PC’s, Smartphones, etc.) to help increase the Sales Force Productivity... with Business Intelligence. Someone, please help me to understand!
